Tiff Money is a comedian, writer and corporate manager based in Philly. Her career as a comic started back in 2016 and she has quickly made a name for herself on the East Coast. She has participated in a number of comedy festivals across the country including: Black Girl Giggles in New Orleans, Cleveland Comedy Festival (where she received 2nd place), DC Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Festival, World Series of Comedy and more. Tiff was also the winner of the Sway in the Morning Comedy Search on Sirius XM radio.
After attending college at The Art Institute of Philadelphia, Tiff took a job as an IT Project Manager. As she was climbing the corporate ladder she realized that she needed a way to ease her stress, so she decided to take classes at Helium Comedy Club in the Fall of 2016 — her first performance ever was during her time at Helium. She then continued her studies at Philadelphia Comedy College in the Summer of 2017.
When it comes to her comedy, Tiff doesn’t hold back. Her sets are both bold and original. She talks about everything from corporate life to religion, sex and her family. She has a natural presence on stage that transcends throughout the crowd.
“Comedy has been able to save my life,” says Tiff.
Aside from being a performer, Tiff is also an extremely talented writer. In fact, she was a semifinalist at Scriptapalooza for her spec script of the hit series Insecure called “Dreams and Nightmares.” Plus, she was a quarter-finalist for the WeScreenplay competition and a quarter finalist at the New York International Screenplay Awards for her short film.
Tiff is a big fan of mysteries and thrillers and she has always had a great admiration for Eddie Murphy. While she of course enjoys watching good comedy from time to time, she notes that she doesn’t often turn to other comedians to find her inspiration. She instead prefers her comedy to feel completely organic. Tiff’s comedy is something that is all her own.
