If you are a fan of social media’s biggest influencers “The Impact: Atlanta” just may be your cup of tea. This October, BET+ released a new non-scripted reality series that looks into the lives of Atlanta’s top influencers. Let’s get to know the show’s stars.
Jayda Cheaves
Jayda Cheaves, originally known as “AmourJayda” is one of social media’s original “It girls.” She is a model, entrepreneur, actress and author. She quickly became known for her unique fashion taste and diverse hair colors at age 16 on Instagram. Once Jayda’s following grew she started the successful brand “Amour My Hustle” selling hair and clothing and recently released a new brand “Waydamin” which sold out minutes after release. Aside from her businesses, she also hosts events making up to $30,000 for an appearance and has a book titled “The Young Boss Blueprint: 15 Steps to Becoming a Young Boss.” When Jayda is not working or with friends, she raises her son Loyal who she shares with rapper Lil Baby. With her 7.7 million followers on Instagram, Jayda always keeps her followers engaged in her spontaneous lifestyle as she is young and fly.
Ariana Fletcher
Ariana Fletcher, otherwise known as “Therealkylesister” or “AriTheDon,” is a Chicago-based influencer, model and entrepreneur known for being an unapologetic baddie. She started as a bottle girl at a popular Chicago club where she grew her following posting for brands. She is also the owner of the hair company KYCHE Extensions Business. Since becoming an influencer she expanded her talents as a “Bad Bitch,” making $30,000 for each club hosting she does. Ariana also hosts the YouTube channel “TheRealkylesister” where she and her friends share cooking recipes. In “The Impact: Atlanta” Ariana and her friends not only throw down in the kitchen but talk about their personal, dating and work lives. Ariana raises her son Yoshon, whom she shares with rapper G-Herbo, and maintains her relationship with rapper boyfriend “Moneybagg Yo” and social life with her friends. Ari continues to give her 5.6 million Instagram followers insight into her lifestyle.
Dionte Gray
Dionte Gray, better known as “Arrogant Tae,” is a celebrity hairstylist from Chicago. He is known for his beautiful work of making lace frontals practically invisible. Tae got his big start working with “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams when he did her hair for an interview. Tae grew up around women who did hair and fell in love with making women feel beautiful. Tae has worked with Kylie Jenner, Lala Anthony, Sza and Nicki Minaj. With Tae’s busy work life, he has expressed interest in opening a salon due to wanting to have his own place of business.
Destiney Bailey
Destiny Bailey, better known as “Dess Dior” is a model and rapper from Georgia. Dess is an independent artist with two hit songs “Stop Playin” and “Rich B*tch.” She also owns the Show Luv Entertainment company and the clothing brand 1richmerch. Although she was in a relationship with rapper ex-boyfriend Future, Dess wants to make a name for herself independently. If Dess is not in the studio, she is doing shows with artists like Mariah The Scientist and Flo Milli or spending time with friends turning up in the city.
Lakeyah
Lakeyah is a rapper and influencer. She got her big break in 2016 by covering the song “So Gone” by Monica on Facebook. Constantly releasing freestyles, Lakeyah was working towards achieving her goal of signing to a record label. After moving to Atlanta she eventually signed to the label “Quality Control Music” in 2021. Once signed she began working with the rap duo “City Girls,” releasing the “Female Goat” album that expanded her fanbase. It can be intimidating signing onto a major label, but Lakeyah continues to make a name for herself in the industry. Lakeyah released her new album “No Pressure Part 2” which features Flo Milli, Latto, and Lucky Daye. Although Lakeyah is still establishing herself as a new artist with Quality Control, she continues to grow as a musician.
