Every year, Netflix hosts a global fan event where they reveal exclusive news, never-before-seen footage, trailers and first looks of new and returning TV shows and movies coming to the streaming platform. This year the Tudum event headed to Sáo Paulo, Brazil, where Netflix gave many updates and announcements to the platform’s viewers on their upcoming releases. Here are all the biggest announcements from Netflix’s Tudum 2023:

Alongside the live-action announcement, the “Avatar” series cast members were revealed with first-look photos of the stars. The main cast includes Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio Tarbell as Katara and Ian Ousley as Sooka.
As we wait for the live-action installment, the animated series is available to watch on Netflix.
“Squid Game” Season 2 Cast Revealed

It was no surprise that there would be a second season of the Netflix series “Squid Game” as the show became a global sensation. The show’s creator Hwang Dong-hyuk announced a few months after the show’s success that he was already thinking of the next season’s plotline. Now we have more information about the show’s return. Characters Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), the leader of the masked staff behind the game, and Hwang Jun-ho (Wi Ha-jun), a detective who sneaks into the game in search of his brother, will reprise their roles in the upcoming installment. In addition to these familiar faces, the new players of the Squid Game were also revealed. The new cast members include Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon and Yang Dong-geun.

According to Shondaland, during Tudum, Coughlan hinted at what’s to come for the third season, which she described as “magical and romantic” and, happily, “quite scandalous.”
Although the release date of the upcoming installment has yet to be announced, viewers can watch the earlier seasons on Netflix.
“You” Season 5 Teaser Trailer

Shortly after the release of part two of season four, Netflix renewed “You” for its fifth and final season. However, we haven’t heard much information about the new season until now. Netflix released the teaser trailer for the last season of the show. Although the teaser trailer was kept brief, viewers can expect to see Joe returning to the big apple. But his return might not be as welcoming as he would have thought since, “There are many loose ends in Joe’s past,” as Badgley mentioned in the video.
Netflix has yet to announce the release date of the final season. However, viewers can catch up on previous seasons of “You” on Netflix.
“Stranger Things” Casting News

Chrissy, wake up! Netflix revealed a new cast member joining “Stranger Things” season five!
The new addition is none other than Linda Hamilton, who is best known for her role as Sarah in “The Terminator.” Unfortunately, Netflix didn’t release any details of her character, leaving many “Stranger Things” fans curious about her role. Will she join the fight against Vecna or be on Vecna’s side? These questions remain unanswered. However, we do know that Hamilton is a fan of the series.
“I don’t know how to be a fangirl and an actress at the same time,” said Hamilton during her video announcement at Tudum. “I’m going to work on that.”
As we wait for season five of “Stranger Things,” viewers can watch the previous seasons on Netflix.
