Amena Ahmed from Ewing, New Jersey is a senior at the University of Minnesota pursuing a degree in journalism. Upon graduation, she hopes to write for a lifestyle magazine that incorporates some of her passions such as pop culture, film, fashion, and art. Outside of TV Tea, Amena is a fourth-year writer for the University of Minnesota’s Golden Magazine, which is a student-led fashion and lifestyle publication. Her favorite movies are Dazed and Confused and Requiem for a Dream, and her favorite shows are American Horror Story and Gilmore Girls. However, Amena is always looking for a new movie or show good enough to top these favorites.
