The home of entertainment, VH1, has released many new and returning shows this past month. The new shows and movies feature many known public figures that we all would look forward to seeing. Listed below are six newly released VH1 series to watch.
1. “Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition”

VH1 “Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition” is back for a third season. The reality show reunites the original family of “Love & Hip Hop,” along with fan faves from all seasons. This season, “Love and Hip Hop” stars Spice and Amara La Negra host a trip to Jamaica. The duo takes the trip for the very first time trying to repair issues between cast members and even their frenemies. The cast members try to learn a new standpoint of what it means to be “family.” Over a two-week-long trip, friendships and relationships are tested, secrets exposed, flings started, and forgiveness is slowly but surely in the works for some. The hip-hop cast features favorites Alexis Skyy, Amara La Negra, Chrissy Lampkin, Emjay Johnson and more.

2. “Black Ink Crew: New York”

VH1 “Black Ink Crew: New York” premiered its 10th season this October, and audiences are wondering if this will be the end of the show. The reality show explores both the careers and personal lives of New York City’s top tattoo artists: Caesar, Puma, Young Bae, Alex, Bux, Krystal, Rok, Spyder, Tatti and Ted. The series captures a group of talented tattoo aficionados as they uphold their empire and service a revolving door of elite clientele. The crew is never still for long, balancing impressive careers with relationships, artistic goals and drama within the body art community. This season Tatti works towards becoming an official artist, Krystal and Rok further both their professional and personal relationships, and Bux and Spyder’s friendship gets rocky due to an allegation surrounding Caesar’s personal life threatens to bring his tattoo empire crumbling down. Between the shop, and trying to settle the issues of possibly losing the popular New York City tattoo shop, the drama surrounding the team grows with each episode this season.

3. “Shaunie & Keion’s Destination I Do”

This November, VH1 released a new show covering ex-basketball wives stars Shaunie O’Neal and Keion Henderson as they take their love to the island shores. The three-week special follows the festivities of the destination wedding, which took place in Anguilla. Having nearly 200 guests attending the grand affair, the TV series captures the wedding that took Shaunie six months to plan. Between still planning the wedding, figuring out which son will be walking Shaunie down the aisle, and wondering if her wedding dress will arrive on time, the new show demonstrates that not even a lengthy list of wedding and business demands could put a damper on their big day.

4. “Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding”

“Hip Hop Family Christmas” was 2021’s most talked about holiday movie. The new movie “Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding” is a prequel to last year’s hit starring Ne-Yo and Keri Hilson. The new movie captures the Nixons as they plan Jessica (Kerri Hilson) and Jayson’s (Ne-Yo) wedding amid legal and budget woes, and even Blare (Terrance J) changing his stripes for love. Other celebrity cast mates include Serayah, Terrence J, MC Lyte, and Redman, Cassie, Bow Wow and many others.

5. “My Celebrity Dream Wedding”

VH1 has brought back last year’s hit show “My Celebrity Dream Wedding” with three of Atlanta’s top wedding planners. The show is about three top wedding planners in Atlanta competing for the chance to recreate celebrity-inspired weddings for their clients. The brides-to-be pick which planner will take the lead on their big day. The 12-episode series includes Courtney Ajinça, Lance Devereux and Tori Williams working with couples with budgets well over $100,000. Between the ups and downs of planning their celebrity-themed weddings, the planners strive to give the exact arrangement of what the bride and groom want, making sure to present the wedding of their dreams.

6. “Unfaithful: Caught in the Act”

VH1 has released a new show similar to the show “Cheaters, featuring Tami Roman, helping victims capture their partners in an act of infidelity. Between helping victims track down their cheating partners publicly and getting clarification for victims regarding their cheating partners, the show is very intense as it helps the victims be at peace. Some couples can repair their relationships, while others’ hearts remain broken.
