With many new and returning shows, Netflix’s February lineup varies between horror, comedy and drama. Although other equally entertaining shows are set to be released, Netflix continues to show audiences why their streaming service is one of the best. Here are five titles returning and premiering on Netflix this February!
If you’ve seen the hit Netflix show “On My Block” then you just may fall in love with this new television series. Co-created by Lauren Lungerich, “Freeridge” will be a spin-off of “On My Block.” While “On My Block” is based around a group of teens looking for the hidden Rollerworld cash for drama, “Freeridge” is going to be more mystical when it comes to their discovery. The series follows sisters Gloria (Keyla Monterroso Mejia) and Ines (Bryana Salaz), along with friends Cam (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) and Demi (Ciara Riley Wilson). The “Freeridge” story starts with a sibling rivalry and differences between friends, but they ultimately find themselves coming together after releasing a curse that affects them all. The spin-off series will capture the group fighting to stop the misfortune on the rise in hope of saving their future.
“Freeridge” will premiere Feb. 2 on Netflix. You can watch the trailer here.
“You” is back and let’s just say you won’t want to miss the return of the popular show. Season 3 ended with Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) faking his death while leaving his wife Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) to die after abandoning his son on a doorstep. Season 4 will consist of darkness coming to light. While living in London as a professor by the name of Jonathan Moore, Joe changes his appearance along with some of his selfish ways. Between dealing with the repercussions of abandoning his son and being stalked, the new season is sure to be full of surprises.
The first part of “You” Season 4 will be released on Feb. 9 on Netflix. You can watch the trailer here.
3. “Red Rose”
Produced by Michael and Paul Clarkson, “Red Rose” is a new horror series coming to Netflix. The ensemble cast consists of Wren Davies (Amelia Clarkson), Rochelle Mason (Isis Hainsworth), Tariq ‘Taz’ Sadiq (Ali Khan), Jaya Mahajan (Ashna Rabheru), Noah Royston (Harry Redding), Rick Bennet (Adam Nagaitis), Ellis Howard (Anthony Longwell), Vinny Madson (Samuel Anderson), and Ashley Banister (Natalie Gavin).

4. “The Upshaws”
Netflix has revealed the first look at Season 3 of “The Upshaws.” Created by Regina Y. Hicks and Wanda Sykes, the comedy series follows Bennie Upshaw (Mike Epps), a father and middle-class family man, married to his wife Regina (Kim Fields). Their children include Aaliyah (Khalil Spraggins), Maya (Journey Christine), and son Kelvin (Diamond Lyons). They live in Indianapolis with his mother Lucretia (Wanda Sykes). Season 2 left off with Bennie and Lucretia under arrest for selling stolen parts. This upcoming season will allow viewers to see the Upshaws conquer the ups and downs they face as a family along with new and old loves, big dreams and drama.

5. “Outer Banks”
Our favorite group of Pogues will be back at it again this February! “Outer Banks” last left off with a LOT of questions about what would happen to the group after failing to recapture the cross and being stranded on a Caribbean island, affectionately deemed “Poguelandia.” The tight-knit group, which consists of John B. (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), JJ (Rudy Pankow), Kiara (Madison Bailey), and Pope (Jonathan Daviss), also has a new addition, Cleo (Carlacia Grant), who escaped with them off the boat and is likely to be a big help in whatever they have coming in Season 3.
“Outer Banks” Season 3 will premiere on Feb. 23 on Netflix. You can watch the trailer here.
